CONTEXTUAL INTENT

Q. How is this new add-on feature offered? Is there an additional price to access this data?

A. The new Contextual Intent offer is a paid add-on feature. The offering combines insights from the customer’s technographic, firmographic, and intent data to provide context and actionable insights into the buyers’ journey so you can create a more refined and targeted approach to effectively support sales and marketing initiatives.

Contact your Customer Service Manager to request a product demonstration for this add-on feature.

Q. Please describe the coverage for the contextual intent data included in Platform 2.0.

A. Key statistics include:

  • Platform 2.0 provides intent on over 9 million companies that have been mapped to HG’s data across all revenue and employee bands.
  • Platform 2.0 provides coverage in over 200 countries, with resolution to the city when in the United States (over 250 metro areas).

Q. How specific is our Intent data when it comes to location?

A. When detectable, we resolve down to the location where the signal originated. When the signal is outside of the United States this is based on the country only. When inside of the United States the closest city to the signal is included when detected.

Q. How many Intent topics are covered?

A. We have about 4,000 topics mapped across all of our spend and product categories. We have additional topics for non-technology segments as well across most verticals.

Q. How will topics be provisioned to customers?

A. Topics will be provisioned in packages to customers. We will offer 20, 50, 100, and >100 topic packages at different price points.

Q. Why is Intent Scoring separate from Fit Score?

A. The Fit Score shows which companies are the best fitting to the user’s criteria. The Intent Score provides an indication of which of those companies are in the market right now.
